My apologies for missing the Friday deadline for the “Friday Six Pack” once again. The good thing is, when I miss a few days on the FSP, it gives me more time to find new music for you all to put on your shit faces and rage around to. This couldn’t be more true for today’s 12 pack. I’m once again able to get back to my roots with the FSP: Pounding electro, and lots of it. Here’s a few names to get your ears watering: SebastiAn, F.O.O.L., Alesso, R3hab, Digitalism… moist yet? As you all know, my musical tastes aren’t strictly hard electro, so at the bottom you will find an original disco house banger from Mister Gavin and a smooth Feed Me remix of the Gorillaz. One more thing; remember that track called “Penguin” by Avicii? Well an unofficial edit of the unreleased vocal version of the track, actually called “Fade Into Darkness,” has been released on a mystery man’s soundcloud which could turn out be very unofficial and fake, or very official and a possible leak, we’ll have to wait for the Swede himself to release it to see. I’ve also got a question for the dedicated FSP fans out there at the bottom. Over and out.

To the followers, fans, and friends of the FSP: I’ve been thinking about a new name for the FSP for a while now and can’t decide on something concrete that will help take this feature on to even more success in the future. I want to change the name because the FSP is often times not an FSP at all. For instance, today it would be a MTP, so calling it an FSP just makes me sound stupid and lazy. Lets figure this out and come up with a new name for the FSP that will be more ambiguous (so I have some elbow room) but still embodies the weekend rage list vibe. Head on over to our FB page and post some ideas you have. OR, you can go ahead and tweet these ideas @pnutandjams. I hope this works. Thanks!
