Turban Productions is hosting Minnesota’s NYC Debut in Brooklyn on the 23rd and PB&J™ has been lucky enough to sponsor the event and maybe even toss out a couple of new tanks while we’re there. On the roster for this Special Saturday are NJ talent Space Jesus & Bot Yone followed by Joro-Boro (who was just hand-picked by Bassnectar for BASS ISLAND) and then the closer, Minnesota. The show is at Public Assembly which is on 70 North 6th Street in BK…Tickets are only $10 and there’s an Open Bar from 10-11pm! For everyone who hasn’t heard of Minnesota yet he’s a ridiculous dubstep DJ/Producer out of Santa Cruz, CA who has been pushing the dub genre farther and farther with every release. His music is packed with heavy dub/glitch/hop which will not only get you dancing but also continue to crush at each venue he plays at…one of Minnesota’s best qualities is his incredible diversity in both his production and dj sets. Some of the artists Minnesota has played with before include Flying Lotus, Ghostland Observatory, Rusko, Benny Benassi, RJD2, Excision, Skream, Benga & many more.
