Deadmau5 and Skream & Benga Essential Mixes Live at Space Ibiza 2011

9 Aug

Last Friday on the 5th August 2011, Space’s ‘Come Together’ party brought out a ridiculous lineup featuring the newest and best dance music styles.  All of which were concentrated in six different rooms at one of the most notorious clubs in the world.  Via the web we found the recent dub-set from Skream & Benga at Space Ibiza August 6th, 2011.  Along with Deadmau5′s set this post is a gem.  We could not wait another day to post these.  Tracklists for both after the jump.

mau5 is playing more and more other people’s stuff and is keeping the energy going. He’s getting absolutely fantastic. At Lollapalooza he played Jaded (one of his best tracks he made long ago imo), and mixed Daft Punk into one of his songs. I’m absolutely loving it.

  1. Funkagenda – Shinjuku (Original Mix and Michael Woods Remix) | Music Blog List - January 17, 2012

[...] Michael Woods takes the schizophrenic melody and adds classic progressive house chords, a brief trip-hop drum sample, and a huge big-room break followed by a wobble that sounds a little like Deadmau5′s “ Cthulhu Sleeps.” (We apologize for all the mau5 references. No prizes for guessing what we were listening to last night). [...]
