Welcome back to your weekly dose of drama-erasing, stress-reducing, love-making-to ear milk. This week we’re bringing you the ultimate in “sit back and just take a moment” music: a full hour long mix put together by Tom Morgan for the Electronic Groove Podcast; the new Ianborg track (sent to me literally moments ago), some Anodyne Industries, a serving of DFRNT and finally, a dose of KZA. Step into my office to check it!
Remember “The End” from last week? This is Ianborg’s follow up/continuation of that track. He spoke to me last night about how he was almost finished with it, and gave me a slight tease. Just got this final version before getting this post out to all of you!
Anodyne Industries! Wow! as a self-proclaimed avid fan of ambient-esque tracks that have a thick sub-bass line, I am surprised that it took me 7 months to have this “anti-apathy aural weapon” fall into my lap. Because of his broad range it is hard to compare him to one individual. However, in the greater scheme of things, I would say AI sounds closest to MT. Eden or Zeds Dead.

This Synkro remix of an already great DFRNT song, carries the smooth, yet bouncy feel you all crave, while subtly adding a thick bass line to catch you in that head bobbing groove.

Very groovy track from KZA, has a some deep intricate layers that make this song bounce and float along.
Download: KZA – Le Troublant Acid
This is a solid groove mix made by Tom Morgan. It keeps at a mostly steady rate throughout the whole hour with some slight break downs. The utmost of ambient chill.
Bonus: classic throwback that has gotten a lot of plays on my iTunes in the last few days. [Download]
