Paul Kalkbrenner – Berlin Calling [Tech-House Soundtrack]

DJ Ickarus, played by Paul Kalkbrenner, is the main character in this 2008 movie who tours all over the world playing at various clubs along side his manager/girlfriend. However, the night of their big album release, Ickarus is admitted to a psych-ward after he overdoses at a gig.

Thank you to Mark S., my current European music influence. This tech-house soundtrack was actually created by the multi-talented actor himself, Paul Kalkbrenner. It’s slow moving, melodic, tech music that is filling a void for relaxing tunes which have a basic premise. Get his album here and then go check out the movie if you haven’t already!! The album’s genre has been classified by its producer/composer. That’s pretty basic to me. Quit trolling Mr. Anonymous.

Kalkbrenner is not tech house. He produces minimal house. You should at least get the basics right before you post something
