Friday Funk (Mediafire Protest)

27 Jan

In case you missed the news on Monday, Mediafire deleted all our uploaded content, wiping 98% of the downloadable content from our site. Update: we don’t have the manpower or available hours to re-upload all that material. What’s my response to this Mediafire BS? I’m opening up the flood gates to every track I have been keeping to myself, ranging from the past few days to months. I will be working over the weekend to re-upload the zip files to every Friday Funk. For now, I hope you thoroughly enjoy the 19 free tracks and a handmade mix inside.

Bonus Mix:

I worked a little overtime last night to bring you my latest mix of my favorite tunes from the past two months. Mediafire can take down all our links if they want – I’m always willing to work a little extra harder to ensure the future of PB&J™ and make sure you all are thoroughly informed on the latest music that deserves attention. I hope you enjoy the mix and have a safe weekend. Click here for a track list.

Seriously man just use http://hulkshare.com/ not only are they reliable but you can make money too.

Thanks Jordan. For now, I am using hulkshare but I have no intentions or plans of profiting from them – that practice raises a whole slew of legal issues I don’t have time to deal with. I’m only uploading the friday funk zips at the moment

If you’d like, please email our gmail (pnutbutterandjams@gmail.com) and ask our writer NBV that question.

Awesome effort man! Electronic music wouldnt be anywhere near as huge as it is now without the likes of you promoting it. Now SOPA and PIPA are shafting whoever they can just to make an example… How much extra money would the artists actually get from all this PIPA and SOPA bullshit? I’m guessing the publishers and higher ups within the industry will be getting most of it …

Thank you for your kind words. I see exactly where you’re coming from with your opinion on the SOPA bill. Take a look at this video and it’ll explain who is largely funding and lobbying in favor of the bill and make total sense. You’re practically spot on with your guess:
