More big news for the festival world came yesterday as our friends over at MCP Presents and C3 Presents announced they’ve joined forces to bring CounterPoint, a new 2 day music & arts festival, to Atlanta, GA this September 28th and 29th. The multi-stage festival with camping available will be held at the same location as the 2007 Echo Project; a scenic 350-acre Chattahoochee riverfront property just south of metropolitan Atlanta. In addition to a stellar music lineup, planned activities include an arts village, extreme sports demonstrations, a beer garden featuring local breweries, a food truck component, local chefs and a college football viewing area. You can expect this to be one of the most refreshing festivals yet as its produced by C3 Presents (Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival) and MCP Presents (Camp Bisco, Lights All Night), CounterPoint marker the first partnership for the two companies.
