Well well well…looks like someone is busy in the studio! 21 year old MAKJ (MacKenzie Johnson) keeps turning out edits/bootlegs that are straight fire and this one does not disappoint. Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime‘ seems to be getting some new found love with a recent edit from Thomas Gold that was just released yesterday, now MAKJ has already done his take on the track and it’s kinda fucking hot. I think you’ll be hearing both versions a lot this summer, and I’m certainly not complaining. Coming right out of the gate with a feel-good build, the initial breakdown is filled with reaching synths and high energy. In true MAKJ fashion, he gives the track a heart-pounding bass filled breakdown at 1:45 that really brings home that progressive sound. I also included the Thomas Gold edit below so you can see what he did with the damn thing, I gotta say: I prefer the sound and style of MAKJ’s better, but you can always let me know what you think via twitter: @CammaKid.
