“Another Avicii remix…?” is what you probably groaned when you read the title. Hell — if you know me personally then you know I’m not the biggest fan of the young Swede. But to ease my slight hatred of Avicii, Ray Decker, better known as Kastra puts out a remix of ‘Silhouettes’ thats changed my opinion. Kastra, who’s known for his top-notch production skills added a more chilled out, progressive vibe to Avicii’s latest vocal smash. After receiving a fair amount of praise from Chuckie on his remix of ‘Who Is Ready to Jump?’ (which he played on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix), it was only a matter of time before Kastra put out another epic piece. With multifaceted production skills and an original sound that can be placed under several sub-genres of EDM, 2012 is the year of Kastra.
