Initial thoughts from the outside observer: “this music video is nothing but indie hipster BS“. Alright, I here ya; but let’s take a step back and recognize great music when we hear it. If you have yet to hear Chad Valley’s breakthrough single, ‘Fall 4 U’, go ahead and take a listen before passing judgment. The track itself pays a delightful homage to early 90s funk-pop, while the music video, well-produced and creatively managed, fits the emotion and message behind the song – and still resembles 80s new wave video production. Chad, a young Oxford-native, has loads of production potential and we can safely say his debut album Young Hunger will be released on October 30th by our good friends at Cascine.
For now, enjoy the fruits of the internet.
