Where do we even begin with this!? As a veteran producer and DJ, many thought that Eric Prydz had reached his plateau in the EDM community…yeah he was still good and always put on a fun show, but they were fairly vanilla sets with great tracks and great mixing, but no surprises. All this changed a few short weeks ago when the world of Pryda was completely flipped and boosted into the stratosphere. Almost in the same breath that IDentity announced the 36 year old Swede would be headlining the touring festival, Prydz also released a 20 minute preview of his just released album Pryda. After listening to the preview endlessly, saying that I was excited for this release would be a gross understatement. Pryda has everything that a true fan of EDM looks for when getting new music. This is one of those moments where you just need to trust me with your sanity and just purchase the whole album now!
