It’s been a short while since we’ve heard some new material from our good buddy Huge Euge. Last time we checked in with him, he unleashed his finished remix of Richard Durand‘s anthem, ‘Signs‘ which had just won him the Beatport remix competition. With massive support and critical acclaim to follow, Euge is back with two new remixes as he’s entered two MORE contests on Beatport — serious work ethic huh? Click the jump for both tracks and make sure you VOTE!
Sticking to a unique electro sound, first off is a remix of Sander van Doorn‘s ‘Chasin The Mouse‘ which showcases some versatility from Euge as the melodic buildup is followed by a heavy electro drop with the occasional, yet necessary blips and bleeps. With a more fun, playful nature than the original, this remix has potential to be a true summer anthem.
Next up, Euge tackled Zedd‘s breakout vocal hit ‘Spectrum‘ with a high paced drop that continues to build throughout the entire track. As the vocals of Matthew Koma play backdrop to Huge Euge’s remixed production, there’s no humanly possible you wouldn’t start raging once it infected your eardrums. Possessing an extremely contemporary yet innovative sound, Huge Euge has entered both contests and needs your votes to propel him to the top, so listen to both and vote using the links provided.
