Usher – Scream (Pierce Fulton Remix)

A man of diverse taste, Pierce Fulton brings out a more progressive side with his remix of Usher’s ‘Scream’ (Less ‘Who Wants Spaghetti?, more ‘Lay Right Here). Between the filming of Pierce’s self-titled Youtube Series and a prodigious amount of touring, his re-work of Usher’s summer single is a welcome return to the quality production that has helped him amass a sizable following and a spot on the main stage at this year’s Electric Zoo. After this release, I’m praying that Mr. Fulton can find some more time away from his adoring public to hole up in Vermont and get some work done: staccato, syncopated synthesizers punch a distinctly progressive consistency into this pop anthem.
