While it’s extremely frightening to see the mainstream influences that are beginning to show up in EDM, releases like this one give me hope that there’s still an authentic silver lining that can’t be touched. The obligatory fan favorite, Armin Van Buuren, dropped his trance remix to Zedd’s ‘Spectrum‘ this morning during his ASOT(A State of Trance) Podcast. This song shines in all of its melodic-trance glory, while leaving hints of Zedd’s original electro masterpiece intact.
